Sadly and yet also happily, I've already read it again.

Dang large vocabulary, it's making it hard to remember every word, what they're used for, the past tenses, and the their meanings. For example I'm still not sure if the past tense for "read" is spelled the same or not.

Read is spelled the same in past and present tense.

And the problem with english is that it originates from several different languages where they were combined haphazardly as oppose to following the patterns of one of them to maintain consistency.
