Save Marlo... Save the world
It's a story idea I came up with while watching "Heroes" the tv show. I have already written the entire plot so I estimate it to be about one and a half month long story. The only problem is that the story is a bit outrageous and only the Masago fans will love it. The down side is that the non-Masago fans or the casual readers will not know what the fuck is going on.
Basically because...
-The story will be a bit inconsistent (because Masago is a restaurant comic after all)
-It will be told 5 years in the future (time travel)
-And a bunch of characters will have "strange" powers
But on the flip side, the fans will love it because the story and characters are all so twisted! Friends become enemies and enemies will become friends. Plus you will see the return of old co-workers.
I didn't go too in detail with this because I don't want to leave spoilers. But if I don't do this I'll tell you the story for sure. But if I do make it, it'll probably be before episode 500 for sure.

that sounds great man! and now i know what you ment all those months ago when you said 'in future episodes there will be time travel'. hehe....

Marlo is quite different from Claire eh?
This would be a nice story arc. Albeit long.

So, is this idea dead?
Also, what about instead of confusing people or making it in the future, just make it an alternate reality. And, on the top of the comic (in the image, not the alt text) just write "Masago, an alternate reality". And you can tell people in the blog on the bottom that you'll get back to the real story in a month. That way Masago fans can get entertained and new viewers won't have too much of a "WTF?" moment.
